Hey guys!Long time no...review? I haven't done a circle lens review in so long! That is for a number of reasons honestly, but mostly because I wanted to give my eyes a bit of a break from circle lenses. Review: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Exposed

Everyone who tries the Tarte blushes seems to love them, and this shade seems to specifically be a favorite. Upon first glance I assumed that this would be way wayyyyyy too dark for my freakishly pale self.

If you guys read....I think my last post or the post before that you'll know I did a bit of an ULTA haul about a month ago. I bought a Clarisonic, some Boscia skincare items,  and some NYX and Revlon makeup. I didn't particularly realllly want any of the items I bought aside from the Clarisonic but sometimes when you have a 20% off coupon + buy one get half off deals you end up just grabbing things on a whim.

Review: Wet N' Wild Nude Awakening Eyeshadow Palette

This is my first Wet N' Wild palette you guys! I've heard great things about these palettes but I could never really find one where I liked all the colors.  When I was browsing through my local grocery market I stumbled upon one of those little...I don't know..new product set ups? Anyway, the set up had this palette, another palette and a bunch of gorgeous nail polishes. I picked up this and one of the nail polishes and I'm really happy that I did!

Review: Cargo Blu_Ray High Definition Pressed Powder in 10

I ran out of my Laura Geller Balance and Brighten so I went back to Ulta to pick up another one. When I got home and opened up the powder there was some crazy purple Laura Geller Bronze and Brighten inside. So I went back to Ulta to exchange it and all of the Balance and Brightens they had had a bronzer inside instead of a powder SO I decided to pick up a different high end powder. If any of you guys almost obsessively watch youtube beauty videos like I do you may know of the beauty guru Saaammage. The Cargo blu_ray powder is her favorite I believe and since I do think we have smilar skin types (acne prone, acne scarring, and oily) I figured I might like this powder as well.

Review: LORAC Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette

Something that I really really need to stop doing is buying cheaper things in place of certain high end products that I want. Why should I stop doing that?Because in the end, I still want the high end product and I end up buying that as well. Does anyone else do that? Anyway, so I picked this up a couple months back because I wanted one of the NAKED palettes and I had a 20% off coupon for ULTA. As many of you guys may know the NAKED palette is 50$ and even though you get a ton of shadows in that palette it is still a bit of a steep price for me since I wear almost beyond basic neutral looks if I'm wearing shadow at all. This LORAC palette was only...I believe 38$ (which is still high end but...not as expensive) so I decided to pick this up instead because at the time I figured it would make me stop lusting over the NAKED palette as well as save me a couple bucks.

So...months after buying it uh...I still want the NAKED palette.So all in all by the time I get that one i'll have spent 80 some dollars in neutral eye shadows which is rrriidddiiccullousss for me.

Anyway, sorry for the rant!Onto the review!

Review: Tarte Emphaseyes Inner Rim Brightener

 

So after wandering around Ulta for about an hour looking for an inner rim nude colored brightener I finally spotted this one. There didn't seem to be any at all in the drugstore section of Ulta(there is now because Rimmel came out with a nude colored eyeliner but when I was there a month and a half ago they didn't have that out). I really really didn't want to drop 19$ on a flesh colored eyeliner buttt it really seemed like the only option there and I figured I'd probably really like it.

I picked these little boogers up so long ago and haven't gotten around to reviewing them until now. Lately its been a bit hard for me to balance going to work all the time, updating this blog and making art. But I'm really trying! So anyway, I picked these up at ULTA because uh..i'm obsessed with ULTA. I think I had a coupon for 3.50 off of 10 so of course I bought about...30$ worth of stuff.

Ohhhh yes. Look at these pretties you guys!I've been wanting this blush for awhile and of course I had to pick up one of the newest lip stains at the drugstore and of course it had to be in red(to add to my ever growing wtf,what are you trying to own every single shade of red possible? pile)!

Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 51

 

Ohhhhhh yeaaaah. Y'all may know how I love me some foundation! So after doing quite a bit of research on really good drugstore foundations I found this to be a recurring hit amongst people who had access to it. What I mean by that is this foundation isn't sold in the USA. I could've probably ordered it online but one of the cool things about going to Kuwait was that it had Boots. For those of you who don't know, Boots is a...pharmacy?I guess. It has toiletries and makeup. If you live in the US its sort of like CVS. I also believe it originated in Britain?I could be wrong, I just know that it is mentioned in a ton of hauls that British Youtube makeup gurus make. I've only been to a British Boots in the airport in London and it looked exactly like the one I went to in Kuwait. Anyway, I'm going to be honest here, I totallllyyy prefer CVS to Boots because the makeup section is wayyyyy bigger. Boots was cool though. It had tons of brands that CVS doesn't.

After seeing many reviews on the new Maybelline products I knew I had to pick some up for myself. New drugstore makeup is so exciting! I actually went to a couple of CVSs without any luck of finding these new collections and I finally ended up finding them at Target.
